Salt of the Earth is a small family run deli in Carlton, near Blackpool, which I visit on pretty much every trip home. The food is locally sourced and cooked to order so it’s as fresh as can be.
We usually go in for lunch but then end up having pancakes and hot chocolates because they are just so good. You can also get your food to take away, which used to come in particularly handy when I was at sixth form, which was less than five minutes away… The staff are all really friendly and make you feel welcome, which gives it this lovely homely vibe.
